Early last month, I had an opportunity to be selected as part of a program dubbed; ‘Incheon Buddy’ currently run by Incheon International Relations Foundation (IIRF). IIRF is a city-funded organization, aiming to promote Incheon’s international affairs and furthermore boost local economy and industries.
Incheon is the 3rd largest city in Korea after Seoul and Busan. Its population is approximately 3 Million. It has eight (8) districts and 2 counties with the Incheon Metropolitan Council as the official Administration office. The city has been a central location in Korea’s history because of its geographical significance as the gateway from Korea to Northeast Asia. It boasts of an international airport and an international seaport, making Incheon a hub of Northeast Asia’s logistics.
